Compliance Audit System

Introducing COMPAS™ – UI BAM

COMPAS extends its support of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Integrity to a second critical area: Benefit Accuracy Measurement (BAM) investigations.

COMPAS – BAM began with a request from a state agency already using COMPAS for UI Tax Audits. By adding a new assignment type to the existing framework, MTW built a second audit tool on a foundation state agencies already trust. The first implementation went live in Alaska in March 2018.

COMPAS – BAM is easy to use, saves time, and brings consistency to the audit process for staff, reviewers, management, and BAM program reviews. Weekly BAM assignments are created automatically from the rec1.dat file your state UI system already produces, and each assignment starts with as much ‘Before’ data from the UI claim as your agency can provide.

What Our Clients Say

“Alaska BAM has utilized COMPAS as its primary auditing tool for the last several years. During this time, MTW has been responsive and easy to work with. Auditors navigate and store investigative information in COMPAS which has resulted in more complete audits. As a BAM manager, one of the perks of COMPAS is when reviewing cases, all the information is in one audit report and easy to find and you receive notifications as auditors submit the cases which allows for easier tracking.”
